REGIONAL ATTRACTIONS
Fynbos Golf & Country Estate falls within the Cacadu district municipality of the Eastern Cape. The region provides a rich diversity of attractions, and the following can be experienced within 45 minutes drive of Fynbos:
- Golf courses: St Francis Links, Goose Valley, Tsitsikamma golf estate, Zwartenbosch, Hankey.
- Adrenalin sports: Bloukrans bungee-jumping, tree-top tours.
- Nature: Baviaanskloof 4x4 trails, Tsitsikamma National Park, Otter trail, hiking trails, mountain bike trails,
- Beaches & surf: Jeffrey’s Bay, St Francis.
Fynbos Golf & Country Estate is unique since it already consists of established infrastructure – a 9-hole golf course, clubhouse, leisure facilities, and the Silver Leaf, Skuitbaai and Fynbos Ridge residential estates and areas. The further development of the estate should be extremely appealing to potential investors.
The development of the estate consists of 2 phases:
- Phase 1 consisted of an upgrade of the existing 9-hole golf course and clubhouse facilities, the rehabilitation of natural fynbos and wetlands areas, the construction of a new entrance gate, and the development of 2 lodges for fractional ownership purposes.
- Phase 2 involves the development of 132 erven, building 2 new golf holes, a 25-unit group housing village and a Residence Club facility on the Fynbos Golf & Country Estate. Please note that this phase can only commence pending ROD approvals.
